Qu'il s'agisse d'une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de services financiers souhaitant lancer un nouvel outil de banque en ligne destin\u00e9 aux clients, ou d'une entreprise qui va changer fondamentalement notre fa\u00e7on de penser la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 en permettant le partage de maisons ou de voitures, elles n'ont pas \u00e0 construire physiquement d'infrastructure, d'ordinateurs ou de centre de donn\u00e9es pour h\u00e9berger leurs nouvelles applications \u2013 bien qu'elles aient toujours certainement cette option.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>Qu'est-il arriv\u00e9 aux centres de donn\u00e9es ?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tout d'abord, il y a eu l'introduction du cloud \u2013 une infrastructure disponible en tant que service qui permet aux entreprises de cr\u00e9er, tester et h\u00e9berger efficacement leurs charges de travail et applications sur une infrastructure partag\u00e9e, tierce et r\u00e9partie g\u00e9ographiquement dans le monde entier. Plusieurs fournisseurs de cloud et entreprises rendent cela possible, notamment AWS, Google Cloud et Azure de Microsoft.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ensuite, il y a eu l'introduction des fournisseurs de centres de donn\u00e9es de colocation proposant des espaces de centres de donn\u00e9es en location. Ces entreprises construisent effectivement les centres de donn\u00e9es n\u00e9cessaires pour abriter l'infrastructure de calcul, de stockage et de r\u00e9seau qu'une entreprise a besoin pour exploiter ses applications. Bien que l'entreprise puisse encore avoir besoin d'acheter et d'installer le mat\u00e9riel et les logiciels n\u00e9cessaires au d\u00e9ploiement de ses applications m\u00e9tier (selon que le fournisseur externalis\u00e9 propose de la colocation de d\u00e9tail ou en gros), elle n'a pas la responsabilit\u00e9 de trouver et d'acheter le bien immobilier, ni de construire physiquement le centre de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avec toutes ces options d'h\u00e9bergement d\u00e9sormais sur la table, laquelle convient le mieux \u00e0 votre entreprise ? Une partie de cette d\u00e9cision d\u00e9pendra de l'application ou de la charge de travail que l'entreprise souhaite h\u00e9berger. Examinons de plus pr\u00e8s les diff\u00e9rentes applications que les entreprises pourraient avoir besoin d'h\u00e9berger, et si le cloud ou une infrastructure autonome est le bon choix pour elles. Ensuite, dans un article ult\u00e9rieur, nous aborderons les applications qui pourraient devoir \u00eatre h\u00e9berg\u00e9es dans des centres de donn\u00e9es, et comment d\u00e9cider de construire, acheter ou louer un \u00e9tablissement.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Pourquoi h\u00e9berger dans le cloud ?<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br \/>Lorsqu&#x27;une entreprise choisit de faire appel \u00e0 un fournisseur de services cloud pour h\u00e9berger son application, celle-ci est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 h\u00e9berg\u00e9e dans un nombre ind\u00e9termin\u00e9 de centres de donn\u00e9es distincts que ce fournisseur exploite \u00e0 travers le monde.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il y a de fortes chances que des charges de travail ou des applications soient divis\u00e9es et exploit\u00e9es dans diff\u00e9rents centres de donn\u00e9es au sein d'une r\u00e9gion g\u00e9ographique sp\u00e9cifique. Pour cette raison, une application ou une charge de travail qui doit \u00eatre h\u00e9berg\u00e9e dans le cloud doit \u00eatre de nature modulaire \u2013 capable d'\u00eatre divis\u00e9e \u2013 et ne doit pas avoir d'exigence de proximit\u00e9 entre ces parties modulaires.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outre la modularit\u00e9, les entreprises devraient \u00e9galement r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir au profil d'\u00e9volutivit\u00e9 d'une application qu'elles envisagent d'h\u00e9berger dans le cloud. Les applications qui \u00e9voluent lentement et restent utilis\u00e9es \u00e0 un rythme relativement constant ne n\u00e9cessitent pas les avantages d'\u00e9volutivit\u00e9 qui sont inh\u00e9rents au cloud. Cependant, une application qui conna\u00eet des pics d'utilisation accrue peut grandement b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de l'\u00e9volutivit\u00e9 et de la flexibilit\u00e9 du cloud.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette \u00e9volutivit\u00e9 et cette flexibilit\u00e9 font \u00e9galement du cloud un bon choix pour le d\u00e9veloppement d'applications, car une entreprise peut augmenter les ressources dont elle a besoin pour d\u00e9velopper une application sans avoir \u00e0 payer \u00e0 la fois pour l'infrastructure de l'application et pour l'espace physique du centre de donn\u00e9es. Cela rend le d\u00e9veloppement d'applications moins co\u00fbteux et permet de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement le co\u00fbt de la R&amp;D.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enfin, il y a la question de l'ubiquit\u00e9. Une application ou une charge de travail sera-t-elle accessible depuis plusieurs endroits dans le monde ? Si c'est le cas, le cloud peut \u00eatre une bonne option car les fournisseurs de cloud exploitent d\u00e9j\u00e0 des centres de donn\u00e9es dans le monde entier et cette application peut \u00eatre g\u00e9ographiquement r\u00e9partie de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la latence et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l'exp\u00e9rience des utilisateurs.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cela dit, il y a de nombreuses charges de travail et applications que les entreprises ne voudraient pas h\u00e9berger dans le cloud.
