Delivering data center capacity that’s enabling today’s digital transformation and driving global growth for a rapidly expanding leader in the data center industry are incredibly satisfying for employees, according to the results of our recently completed Employee Engagement Survey.
Vantage Data Centers Global Employee Survey
Each year, the Vantage Data Centers team surveys our employees worldwide to identify how satisfied they are in their jobs and careers, identify our cultural strengths, and establish areas where we can improve to make the employee experience even better.
And the results show that our employees feel set up for success and proud of the work that they do.
The survey was distributed to more than 1,000 of our employees in the North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions. Eighty percent of these recipients responded with their feedback on our culture and how satisfied they are in their jobs.
Overall, we earned an incredibly positive employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) – an indication of how likely employees are to recommend working at Vantage to their friends and colleagues. And it’s easy to see why. The majority of our employees agreed that:
- Their work is appreciated.
- They feel free to voice their opinion and contribute feedback.
- Their managers care about them and their professional development.
- The company’s core values are reflected in the experience that they have had at Vantage.
But it wasn’t just interactions with managers and executives that left a positive impression on our employees. Many found satisfaction from working with the incredible talent and high-performing teams that are the standard across the company and in ensuring our customers have a positive experience.
In addition, one of the most encouraging takeaways from the findings was the recognition of our diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
In an industry that has historically struggled with diversity, the majority of respondents indicated that Vantage values diversity and inclusivity, as well as having a solid understanding the purpose and objectives of the company’s Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity (JEDI) Council.
“In the past decade, digital services have revolutionized how we work and live. Our latest employee engagement survey highlights that Vantage employees are proud to be enabling those services and driving the digital revolution forward,” explained Tricia Elias, Vantage’s chief people and culture officer. “We appreciate our employees sharing their transparent feedback, and we look forward to making our company even better as we implement some of the great ideas gained from the survey.”
At Vantage, our vision is to be the leading global hyperscale data center provider, making a positive and sustainable impact in the communities in which we operate.
